Listen for the various types of time and action modifiers and words. Attempt to identify them in daily speech. Make a point of using certain ones daily.
Identify the various [a's] you hear. Is it a verb? the habitual couplet? the adverbial particle?
Write these sentences:
1. Have you ever done this before?

3. Have they ever heard it before?
4. I have never known it before.
5. I have never eaten it before.
6. I have never been here before.
7. He has never come here before.

Take the time chart in the appendix and make up sentences using the different time words. Try using different sentence frames. Write them out.
