Date | The date to which this line of statistics applies. |
Number of Requests | The total number of Play requests logged by the www.music.indiana.edu web server. |
Number Retrieved | The total number of items which were retrieved from the tape archives on this day. |
Percent from Disk Cache | The percentage of play requests which were satisfied without having to retrieve the items from the tape archives. |
Longest Retrieval (min) | The longest time, in minutes, that the tape retrieval system required to retrieve a single item. |
Shortest Retrieval (min) | The shortest time, in minutes, that the tape retrieval system required to retrieve a single item. |
Average Retrieval (min) | The average time, in minutes, that the tape retrieval system required to retrieve a single item. |
Longest Wait Time (min) | The longest time, in minutes, that a patron was required to wait for the retrieval of a single item. This will be different from the Longest Retrieval Time if one or more users were placed on the retrieval queue. |
Shortest Wait Time (min) | The shortest time, in minutes, that a patron was required to wait for the retrieval of a single item. |
Average Wait Time (min) | The average time, in minutes, that patrons were required to wait for the retrieval of a single item. |
More Than 6 Minutes | The number of retrievals whose total wait times were more than 6 minutes. |
Number of Errors | The number of times the retrieval of an item failed. Errors can be caused by improper URLs (pointing to non-existent items) or actual tape machine errors, among other causes. |
Number Cancelled | The number of items which were cancelled by a patron before the actual tape retrieval started. |
Cache Percent Full | The is the percentage of the Disk Cache which is currently being used to temporarily store items. |
Least Days in Cache | On the days following a Cache Cleaning, this is the least amount of time,
in days, which an item remained in the Disk Cache. If a Cache Cleaning has not occurred, then this number will be zero. |
