The Swinburne Archive is a digital collection devoted to the life and work of Victorian poet Algernon Charles Swinburne. The Archive serves as a platform for research into electronic publishing of humanities data and the application of Semantic Web and metadata technologies to the discovery and analysis of literary texts and other humanities data.
The Chymistry of Isaac Newton is a online digital edition of the alchemical writings of Isaac Newton, of which only a fraction has been previously edited and published.
Comic Book Markup Language (CBML) is a TEI/XML-based vocabulary for encoding comics, comic books, and graphic novels.

bio
I am an assistant professor in the School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University, where I teach and conduct research in the areas of digital humanities and digital libraries. My research interests include:
- digital editing and textual studies
- XML and related technologies as enabling tools in the study of the humanities
- Semantic web and metadata technologies for the discovery and analysis of humanities data
- Web and new media representations of humanities source material
