From the results of the usability testing, we have drawn some conclusions that will guide our continuing implementation of topic maps with TEI-encoding liteary texts.
- Provide carefully designed core categories and access points that may be enhanced and expanded by users
- Implement bi-directional Linking between topic map and local content
- Develop Topic Map creation and editing tools
- Integrate topic map with local content and traditional search/browse interface
- Tailor topic maps and corresponding interfaces to content
- Further exploit pedagogical potential of topic map interface
- Continue Evaluation and Testing
